# DR CONTROL vs Antenna Point

The clearest difference is rating: Antenna Point at 2.9 against DR CONTROL's 2.3. Antenna Point also leads on ratings volume (223 vs 25). DR CONTROL's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Antenna Point holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Antenna Point has 223 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of DR CONTROL's written reviews are positive against 18% of Antenna Point's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DR CONTROL ships an update every 5 weeks, Antenna Point every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
