# Wdgts vs Smart Battery Widget

The clearest difference is rating: Smart Battery Widget at 4.3 against Wdgts's 3.8. Wdgts's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wdgts sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Smart Battery Widget sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Battery Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 276 and 190 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Wdgts's written reviews are positive against 58% of Smart Battery Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
