# BudapestGO vs BusExpress

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BusExpress at 67% against BudapestGO's 20%. BusExpress also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 13.0). BudapestGO's advantage is rating (2.9 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BudapestGO holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BudapestGO has 153 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of BudapestGO's written reviews are positive against 67% of BusExpress's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BudapestGO ships an update every 5 weeks, BusExpress every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
