# Glofox vs [solidcore]

The clearest difference is ads: Glofox at none against [solidcore]'s shown. Glofox also leads on review sentiment (37% vs 21%). [solidcore]'s advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (29K vs 253). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

[solidcore] holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: [solidcore] has 29K ratings behind it against 253, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 37% of Glofox's written reviews are positive against 21% of [solidcore]'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Glofox ships an update every 2 months, [solidcore] every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
