# DateStamper vs CertiPhoto

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DateStamper at 9.2K against CertiPhoto's 1. CertiPhoto's advantage is review sentiment (98% vs 74%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DateStamper sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and CertiPhoto sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CertiPhoto holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DateStamper has 9.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 74% of DateStamper's written reviews are positive against 98% of CertiPhoto's.

DateStamper ships an update monthly, CertiPhoto every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
