# dot ART vs Bricks Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Bricks Camera at 4.5 against dot ART's 2.0. Bricks Camera also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. dot ART sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bricks Camera sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bricks Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bricks Camera has 955 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of dot ART's written reviews are positive against 55% of Bricks Camera's.

dot ART ships an update every 3 months, Bricks Camera every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
