# Gumroad vs Manychat

The clearest difference is rating: Gumroad at 4.7 against Manychat's 4.3. Gumroad also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 days) and ratings volume (37K vs 2.1K). Manychat's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 27%) and chart position (#32 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gumroad sells 31 one-off in-app purchases and Manychat sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $17.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Gumroad holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gumroad has 37K ratings behind it against 2.1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Gumroad's written reviews are positive against 39% of Manychat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gumroad ships an update every 2 days, Manychat every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
