# Gumroad vs Printify App

The clearest difference is rating: Gumroad at 4.7 against Printify App's 3.5. Gumroad also leads on ratings volume (37K vs 90) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days). Printify App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 36) and chart position (#158 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gumroad sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. Printify App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gumroad holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gumroad has 37K ratings behind it against 90, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Gumroad's written reviews are positive against 32% of Printify App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Gumroad ships an update every 2 days, Printify App every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
