# Skillshare vs Hue Game

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hue Game at 100% against Skillshare's 62%. Hue Game also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Skillshare's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillshare sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month and Hue Game sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hue Game holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Skillshare's written reviews are positive against 100% of Hue Game's.

Skillshare ships an update every 10 days, Hue Game every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
