# Skillshare vs Learning Objective Creator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Learning Objective Creator at daily against Skillshare's every 10 days. Learning Objective Creator also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and review sentiment (75% vs 62%). Skillshare's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 9) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillshare sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month and Learning Objective Creator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skillshare holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Skillshare's written reviews are positive against 75% of Learning Objective Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skillshare ships an update every 10 days, Learning Objective Creator daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
