# Skillshare vs B

The clearest difference is review sentiment: B at 100% against Skillshare's 62%. B also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Skillshare's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (25K vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillshare sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month. B asks for nothing beyond the download.

B holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Skillshare's written reviews are positive against 100% of B's.

Skillshare ships an update every 10 days, B every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
