# Skillshare vs eLearning Courses

The clearest difference is rating: Skillshare at 4.8 against eLearning Courses's 4.1. Skillshare also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (25K vs 7). eLearning Courses's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 62%) and in-app purchases (none vs 11). On price, monetization model, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillshare sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month. eLearning Courses asks for nothing beyond the download.

Skillshare holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Skillshare's written reviews are positive against 100% of eLearning Courses's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Skillshare ships an update every 10 days, eLearning Courses monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
