# Skillshare vs BIB TV

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Skillshare at 25K against BIB TV's 1. Skillshare also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillshare sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month and BIB TV sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BIB TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Skillshare ships an update every 10 days, BIB TV monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
