# Skillshare vs Certified Tattoo Academy

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Certified Tattoo Academy at none against Skillshare's 10. Certified Tattoo Academy also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Skillshare's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skillshare sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per month. Certified Tattoo Academy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Certified Tattoo Academy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Skillshare has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
