# ecobee by Generac vs Floravault

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Floravault at 100% against ecobee by Generac's 31%. ecobee by Generac's advantage is price (Free vs $9.99) and ratings volume (224K vs 2). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ecobee by Generac is free to download; Floravault costs $9.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ecobee by Generac holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ecobee by Generac has 224K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of ecobee by Generac's written reviews are positive against 100% of Floravault's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
