# GoGet vs Opal Travel

The clearest difference is ratings volume: GoGet at 11K against Opal Travel's 473. Opal Travel's advantage is review sentiment (21% vs 8%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for GoGet against 4.5 for Opal Travel. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoGet has 11K ratings behind it against 473, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 8% of GoGet's written reviews are positive against 21% of Opal Travel's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
