# Spy Phone ® Phone Tracker vs WhenLog

Spy Phone ® Phone Tracker and WhenLog both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 95% of Spy Phone ® Phone Tracker's written reviews are positive against 14% of WhenLog's. WhenLog's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spy Phone ® Phone Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and WhenLog sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WhenLog holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5.9K and 2.5K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of Spy Phone ® Phone Tracker's written reviews are positive against 14% of WhenLog's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spy Phone ® Phone Tracker ships an update every 2 months, WhenLog every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
