# Singing Lessons vs Riyaz

The clearest difference is rating: Riyaz at 4.4 against Singing Lessons's 2.3. Riyaz also leads on ratings volume (340 vs 3). Singing Lessons's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (59% vs 45%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Riyaz sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.49 per month. Singing Lessons asks for nothing beyond the download.

Riyaz holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Riyaz has 340 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Singing Lessons's written reviews are positive against 45% of Riyaz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Singing Lessons ships an update every 4 weeks, Riyaz fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
