# Singing Lessons vs Vocal Image

The clearest difference is rating: Vocal Image at 4.5 against Singing Lessons's 2.3. Vocal Image also leads on ratings volume (11K vs 3) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 weeks). Singing Lessons's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 19) and review sentiment (59% vs 25%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vocal Image sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Singing Lessons asks for nothing beyond the download.

Vocal Image holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vocal Image has 11K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Singing Lessons's written reviews are positive against 25% of Vocal Image's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Singing Lessons ships an update every 4 weeks, Vocal Image every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
