# Singing Lessons vs BeVocal

The clearest difference is rating: BeVocal at 4.7 against Singing Lessons's 2.3. BeVocal also leads on ratings volume (404 vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). Singing Lessons's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and review sentiment (59% vs 38%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BeVocal sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Singing Lessons asks for nothing beyond the download.

BeVocal holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BeVocal has 404 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Singing Lessons's written reviews are positive against 38% of BeVocal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Singing Lessons ships an update every 4 weeks, BeVocal weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
