# Batch Resize vs Image Size Change

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Image Size Change at none against Batch Resize's 1. Image Size Change also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months). Batch Resize's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 25%) and ratings volume (507 vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Batch Resize sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Image Size Change asks for nothing beyond the download.

Image Size Change holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Batch Resize has 507 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Batch Resize's written reviews are positive against 25% of Image Size Change's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Batch Resize ships an update every 3 months, Image Size Change every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
