# Name Badge vs e

The clearest difference is update cadence: e at every 11 days against Name Badge's every 3 months. e also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). Name Badge's advantage is review sentiment (25% vs 9%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Name Badge sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and e sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

e holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 119 and 298 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Name Badge's written reviews are positive against 9% of e's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Name Badge ships an update every 3 months, e every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
