# Sync vs AppLink Next

Sync and AppLink Next both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of AppLink Next's written reviews are positive against 51% of Sync's. Sync's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (830 vs 20). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AppLink Next sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Sync asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Sync against 4.3 for AppLink Next. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sync has 830 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 51% of Sync's written reviews are positive against 100% of AppLink Next's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
