# iRAW vs Outdoor Camera

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: iRAW at none against Outdoor Camera's 1. Outdoor Camera's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Outdoor Camera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. iRAW asks for nothing beyond the download.

iRAW ships an update every 6 weeks, Outdoor Camera every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
