# Countdowns vs CountDown Widget

The clearest difference is ads: CountDown Widget at none against Countdowns's shown. CountDown Widget also leads on iOS requirement (14.2 vs 17.0). Countdowns's advantage is ratings volume (9.4K vs 165) and review sentiment (78% vs 62%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdowns sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and CountDown Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdowns holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5.
