# Countdown Widget vs Countdown Widget

The clearest difference is ads: Countdown Widget at none against Countdown Widget's shown. Countdown Widget also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Countdown Widget's advantage is ratings volume (9.5K vs 44) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Countdown Widget sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Countdown Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown Widget has 9.5K ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Countdown Widget's written reviews are positive against 81% of Countdown Widget's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Countdown Widget ships an update every 2 weeks, Countdown Widget every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
