# Countdown Widget vs Countdown!

The clearest difference is rating: Countdown Widget at 4.7 against Countdown!'s 4.0. Countdown Widget also leads on ratings volume (9.5K vs 3) and device support (4 vs 2). Countdown!'s advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Countdown! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Countdown Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown Widget has 9.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Countdown Widget's written reviews are positive against 92% of Countdown!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
