# Countdowns vs Premsys

The clearest difference is ads: Premsys at none against Countdowns's shown. Premsys also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 78%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Countdowns's advantage is ratings volume (9.4K vs 4) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdowns sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Premsys sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Premsys holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdowns has 9.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 78% of Countdowns's written reviews are positive against 100% of Premsys's.

Countdowns ships an update every 4 weeks, Premsys every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
