# Absorption vs Blokshot EVILution

The clearest difference is rating: Blokshot EVILution at 5.0 against Absorption's 4.3. Absorption's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (60 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Absorption sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Blokshot EVILution sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Blokshot EVILution holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Absorption has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Absorption ships an update every 5 weeks, Blokshot EVILution monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
