# MeisterTask vs SiteNote

The clearest difference is ads: MeisterTask at none against SiteNote's shown. MeisterTask also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 4). SiteNote's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MeisterTask sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $16.00 per month and SiteNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SiteNote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MeisterTask has 1.8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of MeisterTask's written reviews are positive against 100% of SiteNote's.

MeisterTask ships an update every 3 weeks, SiteNote monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
