# ABS vs ASCRS Events

The clearest difference is rating: ABS at 5.0 against ASCRS Events's 4.6. ABS also leads on iOS requirement (9.3 vs 15.5). ASCRS Events's advantage is ratings volume (57 vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 months vs every 11 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ABS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ASCRS Events has 57 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ABS ships an update every 11 months, ASCRS Events every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
