# Pure Rush vs Driving Test NZ

The clearest difference is rating: Driving Test NZ at 4.6 against Pure Rush's 4.0. Driving Test NZ also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 1). Pure Rush's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 50%) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Driving Test NZ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Pure Rush asks for nothing beyond the download.

Driving Test NZ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Driving Test NZ has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Pure Rush's written reviews are positive against 50% of Driving Test NZ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
