# Farness vs Elden Slider

Farness and Elden Slider both sit at 4.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Elden Slider's written reviews are positive against 38% of Farness's. Elden Slider also leads on price (Free vs $1.99) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On rating, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Elden Slider is free to download; Farness costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Farness holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Farness's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elden Slider's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Farness ships an update every 6 months, Elden Slider every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
