# WidgetCal vs KoraCal

The clearest difference is ads: KoraCal at none against WidgetCal's shown. WidgetCal's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 3) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WidgetCal sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and KoraCal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.6 for WidgetCal against 3.7 for KoraCal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WidgetCal has 1.5K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
