# PC Remote vs Share2PC

The clearest difference is rating: PC Remote at 3.2 against Share2PC's 1.0. PC Remote also leads on ratings volume (301 vs 1). Share2PC's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 33%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PC Remote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Share2PC sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PC Remote holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PC Remote has 301 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of PC Remote's written reviews are positive against 50% of Share2PC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PC Remote ships an update monthly, Share2PC every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
