# PC Remote vs OSLink

PC Remote and OSLink both sit at 3.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 48% of OSLink's written reviews are positive against 33% of PC Remote's. OSLink also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). PC Remote's advantage is ratings volume (301 vs 39). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PC Remote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and OSLink sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.2 for PC Remote against 3.2 for OSLink. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PC Remote has 301 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of PC Remote's written reviews are positive against 48% of OSLink's.

PC Remote ships an update monthly, OSLink every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
