# PC Remote vs Turn Off PC

The clearest difference is rating: Turn Off PC at 4.0 against PC Remote's 3.2. Turn Off PC also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). PC Remote's advantage is ratings volume (301 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PC Remote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Turn Off PC sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
