# PC Remote vs Scry

The clearest difference is rating: Scry at 5.0 against PC Remote's 3.2. Scry also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). PC Remote's advantage is ratings volume (301 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PC Remote sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Scry sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scry holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PC Remote has 301 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PC Remote ships an update monthly, Scry every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
