# TheocBase vs Elders

The clearest difference is price: TheocBase at Free against Elders's $2.99. TheocBase also leads on ratings volume (28 vs 4). Elders's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.2 vs 17). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

TheocBase is free to download; Elders costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elders holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TheocBase has 28 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TheocBase ships an update every 2 months, Elders daily. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
