# Ruler vs Dazo App

The clearest difference is ads: Dazo App at none against Ruler's shown. Dazo App also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ruler sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dazo App sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ruler ships an update every 5 months, Dazo App every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
