# Countdowns vs Days

The clearest difference is rating: Days at 4.8 against Countdowns's 3.4. Days also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (74% vs 47%). Countdowns's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdowns sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Days sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Days holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Days has 13K ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 47% of Countdowns's written reviews are positive against 74% of Days's.

Countdowns ships an update every 3 months, Days every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
