# KanTime ICE vs HostedTime

The clearest difference is rating: KanTime ICE at 3.3 against HostedTime's 1.7. KanTime ICE also leads on iOS requirement (10.1 vs 13.1). HostedTime's advantage is ratings volume (159 vs 3) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KanTime ICE holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HostedTime has 159 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of KanTime ICE's written reviews are positive against 5% of HostedTime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

KanTime ICE ships an update every 5 weeks, HostedTime every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
