# IndieFlix vs Lesflicks

IndieFlix and Lesflicks both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Lesflicks's written reviews are positive against 36% of IndieFlix's. IndieFlix's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 8). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IndieFlix sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Lesflicks sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IndieFlix holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IndieFlix has 51 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of IndieFlix's written reviews are positive against 67% of Lesflicks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IndieFlix ships an update every 3 months, Lesflicks every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
