# IndieFlix vs PREVO

The clearest difference is rating: PREVO at 5.0 against IndieFlix's 4.2. PREVO also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). IndieFlix's advantage is ratings volume (51 vs 6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IndieFlix sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and PREVO sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PREVO holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IndieFlix has 51 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

IndieFlix ships an update every 3 months, PREVO monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
