# Lugg vs HouseTruth

The clearest difference is rating: Lugg at 4.9 against HouseTruth's 4.0. Lugg also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 9) and ratings volume (46K vs 4). HouseTruth's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HouseTruth sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Lugg asks for nothing beyond the download.

Lugg holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lugg has 46K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lugg ships an update fortnightly, HouseTruth weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
