# TTKeyboard vs Prefix App

The clearest difference is rating: Prefix App at 5.0 against TTKeyboard's 4.3. TTKeyboard's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 37%) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TTKeyboard sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Prefix App sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prefix App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TTKeyboard has 1.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of TTKeyboard's written reviews are positive against 37% of Prefix App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TTKeyboard ships an update weekly, Prefix App every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
