# Odd Bot Out vs Flat Pack

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flat Pack at weekly against Odd Bot Out's every 3 months. Flat Pack also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 359). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Odd Bot Out sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flat Pack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flat Pack holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flat Pack has 4.4K ratings behind it against 359, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 85% and 85% positive.

Odd Bot Out ships an update every 3 months, Flat Pack weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
