# Ecanvasser vs MatrixGo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MatrixGo at 100% against Ecanvasser's 33%. MatrixGo also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Ecanvasser's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ecanvasser holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ecanvasser has 607 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Ecanvasser's written reviews are positive against 100% of MatrixGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ecanvasser ships an update weekly, MatrixGo every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
