# lululemon vs SKIMS

The clearest difference is ads: SKIMS at none against lululemon's shown. SKIMS also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). lululemon's advantage is ratings volume (534K vs 58K) and chart position (#62 vs #186). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for lululemon against 4.9 for SKIMS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: lululemon has 534K ratings behind it against 58K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 61% of lululemon's written reviews are positive against 66% of SKIMS's.

lululemon ships an update fortnightly, SKIMS every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
