# Luminair vs Songware

The clearest difference is update cadence: Songware at every 3 days against Luminair's fortnightly. Luminair's advantage is device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Luminair sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Songware sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Luminair ships an update fortnightly, Songware every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
